Core Electrical Parameters
Voltage Ratings Three configurations available: 100 - 120V single-phase (for 0.18 - 0.75kW), 200 - 240V single-phase (for 0.18 - 2.2kW), 200 - 240V three-phase (for 0.18 - 4kW)
Control Modes Supports V/f control, sensorless flux vector control, and energy-saving ratio control mode, adapting to small motor speed regulation scenarios with different precision requirements
Protection & Anti-interference IP20 protection rating; integrated Class C1 EMC filter reduces electromagnetic interference to surrounding equipment, suitable for electromagnetic environments in civil and small industrial settings
Environmental Adaptability Wide operating temperature range: -10℃ - +50℃ (no derating required), up to +60℃ for operation; fully coated circuit board design resists harsh on-site conditions such as dust and light oil contamination
Key Advantages
  • Plug-and-play for time savings: Factory-preset parameters enable direct equipment startup without additional debugging. Terminals feature clear labels, and with a multi-function loader, configurations can be loaded without removing the inverter from the package, significantly reducing installation, wiring, and parameter setting time.
  • Practical braking performance: Achieves 70% of the motor's rated torque braking effect without the need for an additional braking resistor, suitable for small fans, pumps, and other equipment that do not require forced braking, lowering the cost of additional accessory purchases.
  • High stability and durability: Internal components are designed for a 10-year service life, with standard fully coated protection to handle common industrial site issues like dust and mild corrosion. It also comes with an 18-month warranty, resulting in low maintenance costs.
Typical Applicable Scenarios
Thanks to its compact and flexible design, the series covers multiple industrial and civil fields.
Commercial Equipment
  • Access control & signage: Access control systems, rotating billboards
  • Healthcare: Hospital beds, treadmills
  • Food & beverage: Commercial ovens, mills, kneaders, mixers, etc.
Small Industrial Machinery
  • Material handling: Small conveyors, etc.
  • Packaging: Small labeling machines, small bagging machines
  • Pumping applications: Suction pumps, centrifugal pumps, circulation pumps, etc.
  • Fan-equipped machinery: Air/flue gas extraction systems, plastic film making machines, ovens, boilers, etc.
Other Applications
  • Mobile machinery and small equipment with power outlets
  • Applications traditionally using alternative solutions (2-speed DC motors, mechanical drives, etc.)

Frequently Asked Questions
Overcurrent Alarm (displays "oCF") and Tripping Immediately After Startup
This is a high-frequency issue when the inverter is used with kneaders and small conveyors in food processing plants. Inspection may reveal motor cable insulation damage or sudden heavy material loading causing current surge. To troubleshoot: check for cable damage, manually rotate the motor shaft to check for jams, and appropriately extend the acceleration time parameter.
Displays "PRA" Lock and Inverter Is Completely Unresponsive
This often occurs with Altivar 12 inverters paired with access control devices and small labeling machines. Usually caused by ignoring the requirement to short the +24V terminal and PWR terminal during on-site wiring. Use a multimeter to measure if there is a stable 24V voltage between +24V and 0V. If normal, short the two terminals to unlock.
Frequent Shutdown Due to Poor Heat Dissipation and Abnormally Hot Housing
This is particularly common in dusty environments. The inverter's cooling fan is prone to clogging with dust. Normally, the inverter's operating temperature inside the distribution cabinet should be 30 - 50℃. To resolve: regularly clean the heat sink with compressed air (at least once a year) and avoid blocking the inverter's heat dissipation channels.
Displays "CFF" Configuration Error and Fails to Operate Normally
This often happens after equipment maintenance, accessory replacement, or reprogramming. Usually due to a mismatch between replaced accessories and the inverter's power specifications. To fix: enter the "fcs" option in the "conf" menu to reset parameters to factory defaults, then reconfigure programming parameters according to the motor nameplate.
Displays "OPF1" Phase Loss Fault and Abnormal Motor Operation
This mostly occurs with three-phase motor-compatible Altivar 12 models. Triggered when the inverter detects excessively low current or an open circuit in one phase of the motor circuit. To troubleshoot: retighten the wiring terminals, use a clamp meter to check if the current in each phase is balanced, and inspect for motor line damage.
