The W21 Series covers a power range of 0.18KW - 350KW (0.25HP - 500HP) with frame sizes from 63 to 355. It is available in both cast iron and aluminum housing options, catering to diverse industrial application needs.
Structural Features
Frame & End Shields
Cast iron frames and end shields are made of FC200 cast iron, which enhances thermal conductivity and ensures high mechanical strength. Motors with aluminum housings feature lightweight design and superior heat dissipation. All end shields are equipped with drain holes to discharge condensed water inside the frame.
Grounding
  • For cast iron motors: Frames 80-200 are provided with two grounding points (one inside the terminal box, one on the frame). Frames 225-355 have one grounding point inside the terminal box and two on the frame.
  • For aluminum housing motors: One grounding point is standard and located inside the terminal box.
Fan Covers
Motors with frame sizes 63-355 are equipped with standard steel fan covers, which effectively protect the fans and ensure optimal heat dissipation.
Terminal Boxes
Terminal boxes are made of FC200 cast iron, with ample internal space for easy wiring. They can be rotated by 90 degrees, enabling flexible installation.
