Frequently Asked Questions
Q: We're using the H1000 for a 55kW stamping machine (reciprocal impact load). Should we choose HD or SHD rating?
A: Definitely choose the SHD rating. HD is for continuous heavy loads like conveyors, while SHD is designed for reciprocal/impact loads like stamping machines. The 55kW stamping machine needs the 200% overload capacity for 3 seconds that SHD offers.
Q: Our H1000 is installed in a Middle Eastern oilfield, operating at 55℃ ambient temperature 24/7. Recently, it's been showing overheating faults (OH). What's the issue?
A: The standard H1000's maximum ambient temperature is 50℃. First, check if the air filter is clogged with sand and clean it thoroughly. Ensure there's at least 30cm of ventilation space around the inverter. If these don't work, install an external cooling fan or air conditioner for the control cabinet.
Q: We need to connect the H1000 to a Mitsubishi PLC with CC-Link communication. Does it support this directly?
A: The standard H1000 only comes with RS-422/485. You'll need the optional CC-Link communication module (part number CIMR-IFC01). It's plug-and-play—just insert it into the inverter's communication slot and set the station number and baud rate to match your PLC.
Q: How often do we need to maintain the H1000, and what parts are most likely to wear out?
A: Clean the air filter every 2-3 months (monthly in dusty environments). Replace the cooling fan every 2-3 years. Check the capacitor bank every 5 years. The most common wear parts are the air filter, cooling fan, and DC link capacitors.
