A: The minimum allowable voltage for the 200V-class FR-D720 Series is 170V. First, enter parameter P052 (Undervoltage Protection Level) and change the default "Standard" to "Low" to extend the protection delay from 3 seconds to 8 seconds. For frequent fluctuations, install a 1.5kW 3-phase automatic voltage stabilizer at the inverter input. Additionally, check if the power cable is too long and upgrade to a thicker wire if exceeding 10 meters.
Q: Our FR-D740-2.2K (3-phase 380-480V) in a US factory is connected to the local 480V grid but triggers an overvoltage alarm (E.OV) after 30 minutes of operation. However, the grid voltage measures normal. What's the cause?
